# Academy sites

> Academy sites, the public catalogue, and custom domains.

An academy is one branded school on Rittly. Learners reach it at `your-slug.rittly.in` (and a custom domain if you attach one).

## Public catalogue

Anyone can open the academy host and browse published courses without signing in. Each card shows title, category, level, price, lesson count, and enrolment count.

Sign in from the header if you already have an account. After sign-in, **Go to dashboard** appears for people who belong to the academy.

## Choose an academy

If your login belongs to more than one academy and you open the hub, Rittly asks you to pick one. A single membership is selected automatically.

If you are signed in but not a member of the academy whose host you opened, you stay on that academy’s public catalogue so you can enrol (enrolling joins you).

## Custom domain

Owners set this under **Settings → Domain**.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Domain">
    You need permission to manage the academy.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add the hostname">
    Point DNS as instructed on that screen, then wait until the domain shows as connected.
  </Step>
</Steps>

Session cookies work across `*.rittly.in`, so signing in on the hub still works on the academy subdomain.
