# What is Rittly

> What Rittly is, who it is for, and how these product guides are organised.

Rittly is an academy platform for creating courses, enrolling learners, and running teaching day to day: messages, calls, community, calendar, and support.

Each academy lives on its own site (`your-academy.rittly.in`). Creators and staff sign in to run the academy. Learners sign in on that same site to enrol, watch lessons, and talk to instructors.

## Who this documentation is for

These pages explain **how to use the product**, not how to call an API. Follow them in order the first time you set up an academy, then jump to a feature when you need it.

## What you can do in Rittly

  Students never see the staff Overview dashboard. They land on **Courses**. The notification bell is in the top bar for everyone.
